Nick Cannon has revealed that he is not planning to expand his already large family any further—for now. The 43-year-old television host and comedian, who has fathered 12 children with six different women, shared the surprising update during a recent interview.
Cannon admitted that, despite previously joking about having more kids, he is now focused on being present for his current children. He explained that balancing fatherhood with his busy career is already a challenge, and he wants to ensure he gives each of his children the time and attention they deserve.
The Masked Singer host welcomed his most recent child, daughter Halo Marie, with model Alyssa Scott in December 2022, just a year after they tragically lost their first son, Zen, to brain cancer.
Cannon’s other children include twins Monroe and Moroccan (with Mariah Carey), Golden, Powerful, and Rise (with Brittany Bell), twins Zion and Zillion, plus daughter Beautiful (with Abby De La Rosa), Legendary Love (with Bre Tiesi), and Onyx Ice (with LaNisha Cole).
Despite previously embracing his unconventional family dynamic, Cannon now seems to be slowing down on fatherhood—at least for the time being.
So, despite briefly acknowledging that a vasectomy might be the “responsible thing to do,” Nick Cannon still isn’t ready to close the door on having more kids. His remarks on We Playin’ Spades suggest he’s still embracing fatherhood at full speed, even after welcoming 12 children with six different women.
The conversation took a humorous yet introspective turn when former NFL player Ryan Clark shared his decision to get a vasectomy, respecting his wife’s wishes to stop having children. But Cannon, even while admitting that the procedure makes sense for someone in his position, remained adamant that he’s not done yet.
It seems Cannon is holding firm on his belief in building a large family, despite growing speculation about whether he might eventually consider slowing down.#newsafro_
