A multitude of high-profile figures gathered for the Vanity Fair EE BAFTA 2025 Rising Star Party at Pavyllon London on Wednesday evening.
Ellie Goulding was among the prominent attendees, arriving in a striking black and white ensemble that accentuated her toned midriff, paired with stiletto heels.
The 38-year-old singer showcased an elegant cut-out dress, distinguished by a ruffled skirt and high-neck design.
At the Vanity Fair EE BAFTA 2025 Rising Star Party, AJ Odudu commanded attention in a striking red and black mini dress, paired with sleek, thigh-high PVC boots.
The Big Brother host, 36, highlighted her toned physique in the daring ensemble, styling her dark tresses in flawless waves.
Meanwhile, Chicken Shop Date creator Amelia Dimoldenberg, 31, exuded sophistication in a plunging black and white gown, while Sabrina Elba, 35, showcased her fashion-forward sensibilities in a ruffled red dress, complemented by bold statement jewelry.
Industry star Marisa Abela, 28, made a statement in a strapless brown leather dress, accessorizing with sunglasses as she posed at the event. Abela leads the nominees for the prestigious EE BAFTA Rising Star Award for her portrayal of Amy Winehouse in the 2024 biopic Back to Black.
The shortlist, revealed last month, includes Marisa Abela, Jharrel Jerome (Unstoppable), David Jonsson (Alien: Romulus), Mikey Madison (Anora), and Nabhaan Rizwan (In Camera). Notably, Abela, Jonsson, and Rizwan all previously starred in the BBC drama Industry.
The EE BAFTA Rising Star Award is widely regarded as a launchpad to A-list status, with past recipients including Tom Holland, James McAvoy, Tom Hardy, Lashana Lynch, and Kristen Stewart.
The official announcement was made at The Savoy Hotel by Back to Black actor Jack O’Connell—who portrayed Blake Fielder-Civil in the film—alongside Radio 1 presenter Ali Plumb.
O’Connell, 34, who won the award in 2015 following his lead role in Angelina Jolie’s war drama Unbroken, joined the nominees for a photo opportunity.
Reflecting on her nomination, Abela shared: “I was on my way to meet my friend’s baby for the first time when I got the call. It was actually great because, obviously, you’re not allowed to say anything. I just kept focusing on the baby, saying ‘your baby is so beautiful,’ leaving no room for my own excitement.”
Back to Black, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, chronicles the life of the late Amy Winehouse, who tragically passed away in 2011 at the age of 27 due to alcohol poisoning.#newsafro_
