Ghanaian musician Mzbel has publicly disclosed her preference for engaging in romantic relationships with married men, asserting that such relationships entail fewer obligations compared to those with single men.
During an interview with Empress Gifty on February 2, 2025, the 16 Years hitmaker stated that she has consistently gravitated toward married partners.
“Since I began dating, all the men in my life have been married because they come with fewer responsibilities. When they visit, they do not impose household duties on me, as they have their wives to return to. I prefer it that way because that is how I started,” she explained.
When questioned about whether she is currently involved with a married man, Mzbel refrained from directly addressing her partner’s marital status but confirmed that they are engaged and share a child.
“I have not inquired about his marital status because I do not wish to know. While I am not married, I am engaged. He has not yet met my family, but we share a mutual interest in each other, and that is what matters. I requested a ring, and he provided it,” she disclosed.
Furthermore, Mzbel asserted that she does not consider a formal introduction to her family to be a necessary step in their relationship, emphasizing that their commitment is a private matter between them.
“We have a child together. I do not subscribe to the notion that he must meet my family for an official introduction—it is solely between the two of us. He is significantly older than I am,” she added.#newsafro_
