Angelina Jolie‘s 16-year-old son, Knox, was spotted towering over his mother during a family grocery run on Tuesday.
The teenager, whose father is Brad Pitt, stood a good head taller than Jolie while shopping at Lazy Acres with his twin sister, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.
The family trio was seen arriving at the health food store and later emerged with bags of groceries. Knox was seen carrying a watermelon along with his grocery bag, enjoying a casual outing with his family.
Angelina Jolie, 49, showcased her signature sophistication during the outing, donning a tan coat paired with an ankle-length black dress and matching flats. The Tomb Raider star accessorized with a classic pair of large sunglasses and let her blonde hair flow straight down. She carried her essentials in a stylish quilted black clutch.
This outing comes just weeks after Angelina and Brad Pitt finalized their divorce at the end of last year, marking a significant moment in their post-divorce lives.
Angelina Jolie is set to walk away $80 million richer following the finalization of her divorce from Brad Pitt, which has been a long and contentious eight-year legal battle. Despite ongoing disputes over their shared French estate, Chateau Miraval, the couple has now officially ended their marriage.
A source told DailyMail.com that Brad, 61, feels relieved now that this phase of his life is over. “He is no longer bound in any way to his marriage with Angelina. She has really put him through the ringer, and he is just glad this portion is done.”
Brad, with an estimated net worth of $400 million, earns $20 to $30 million per movie, in addition to several multi-million-dollar business ventures, sponsorship deals, and a vast real estate portfolio. Meanwhile, Angelina, 49, continues to be one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses, earning between $20 million and $35 million per film, and she recently launched her arts and fashion collective, Atelier Jolie.
The former couple had a prenuptial agreement in place prior to their 2014 marriage, which ensured that each would retain the individual assets they brought into the marriage and split their joint capital in the event of a divorce.
The divorce has proven to be financially beneficial for Angelina Jolie. In 2018, two years after their split, Brad loaned her $8 million to purchase her Los Angeles mansion. At that time, Brad also covered over $1.3 million in bills for Angelina and their six children—Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. A source has since revealed that Angelina is set to repay the $8 million loan by January 31.
In 2021, Angelina earned a substantial sum by selling a Winston Churchill painting for $11.5 million at a Christie’s auction. The painting, Tower of the Koutoubia Mosque, was a gift from Brad and is believed to be Churchill’s only World War II-era landscape.
Her most significant post-divorce financial move occurred in 2021 when she sold 50 percent of the Château Miraval estate to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group, for a hefty $64 million.#newsafro_
