Ellie Bamber exuded sophistication on Wednesday as she attended the William Tell premiere at the Ham Yard Hotel in London.
The 27-year-old actress, who portrays Princess Bertha in the historical drama, opted for an elegant black pinstripe ensemble featuring a double-breasted blazer and flared tailored trousers.
She complemented the look with a crisp white shirt and black tie, completing her polished appearance by styling her blonde hair in soft, loose waves.
Ellie Bamber highlighted her natural beauty with minimal makeup as she joined her co-stars on the red carpet ahead of the premiere.
The event also saw appearances by Paul Bullion, Jonah Hauer-King, Sam Keeley, Solly McLeod, Nick Hamm, Emily Beecham, Claes Bang, Tobias Jowett, Amar Chadha-Patel, Connor Swindells, Jake Dunn, Marie-Christine Jaeger-Firmenich, Piers Tempest, and Jess Douglas-Welsh.
William Tell, a 2024 historical drama written and directed by Nick Hamm, is based on Friedrich Schiller’s renowned play of the same name.
The film, set in 14th-century Switzerland, chronicles the nation’s struggle against the Holy Roman Empire.
As the ruling dynasty faces collapse, new powers rise to seize control, including the Austro-Hungarian Hapsburg family. In their quest for dominance, the Hapsburgs expand their influence, engulfing Switzerland as part of their march across Europe. Amidst this turmoil, a peaceful hunter, William Tell, emerges as a leader, rallying his people in a rebellion against the tyrannical King of Austria, whose invading forces threaten the tranquility of medieval peasant life.
Ellie Bamber’s appearance at the premiere follows her striking red carpet moment at the Zurich Film Festival last year. The actress turned heads in a daring, low-cut black suit featuring a plunging neckline, promoting William Tell in sensational style.
The Les Misérables star accentuated her silhouette with a tailored blazer paired with slimline flared trousers. Completing the look, she added black sandals and opted for bold makeup, including dramatic black eyeliner and a peach lip.
For the screening in Switzerland, Ellie was joined by her William Tell co-star Jonah Hauer-King, making for a memorable promotional appearance.
