The situation involving DJ Kudirat Gbemisola, known as DJ Kulet, and her estranged husband, Ohis Emmanuel (also known as Benjamin), is deeply concerning. In her public message shared on social media, Gbemisola announced that she was separating from Emmanuel due to his involvement in child molestation scandals, which she revealed had been ongoing for a long time. She further mentioned that she had forgiven him multiple times for his actions, which resulted in her contracting infections on three separate occasions.
This public statement marks a significant break between the couple, with DJ Kulet expressing her disassociation from Emmanuel due to his “egregious and reprehensible actions.” It is a serious matter, and the specifics of the situation would likely be covered by reliable news sources as it develops.
Given the gravity of the allegations, it’s crucial to approach the topic with caution and respect for the individuals involved, awaiting further updates from credible outlets.
Following the circulation of a video in which Ohis Emmanuel, the estranged husband of DJ Kudirat Gbemisola (DJ Kulet), confessed to child molestation and sought forgiveness from his ex-wife, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has condemned his actions. The agency urged anyone with information about the case to come forward, emphasizing its commitment to bringing the perpetrator to justice.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Lagos DSVA expressed gratitude to those who brought the child sexual abuse incident to their attention. The agency reaffirmed its zero-tolerance stance on violence in all forms and reiterated its dedication to preventing and responding to domestic and sexual violence. They also confirmed reaching out to DJ Kulet via Instagram to offer support and requested that anyone with further information contact them through their toll-free hotline or direct messages on social media.
The statement underscored the agency’s focus on child protection, stressing that every child deserves safety, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Despite the efforts of the DSVA, attempts to reach Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, for an update on the investigation were unsuccessful, as calls to his phone went unanswered.
Emmanuel and Gbemisola were married in early April 2024, but their marriage has since been marred by these shocking allegations and the subsequent public fallout.
