She made a mark playing Mia, the sister of Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey, in Fifty Shades of Grey and has since appeared in big-budget films such as Detective Pikachu, Twist, Wonderwell, and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.
Her next role is expected to be her most significant yet, with The Sun reporting that Rita will star in a Marvel movie. A source disclosed that she accidentally revealed her casting while attending the Fashion Awards on Monday night.
A source revealed, “Rita was dressed like a baddie from a Marvel film, and when someone commented on it, she let slip that she has a part in a new Marvel movie. She confirmed she landed the role of someone evil and expressed her excitement about diving into it.”
Adding to the speculation, Rita is married to filmmaker Taika Waititi, known for directing the hugely successful Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder, and for playing Korg in Avengers: Endgame.
