Jennifer Garner was spotted enjoying an outing with her daughter Violet, shortly after reuniting with her ex-husband Ben Affleck for a family Thanksgiving celebration. The actress and Affleck, who share three children, continue to prioritize co-parenting, often coming together for special occasions to maintain a sense of unity for their family.
Jennifer Garner, 52, and her daughter Violet, 18, who is a Yale student and the daughter of Garner and ex-husband Ben Affleck, were seen out together in Los Angeles. Both wore dark jackets for the outing, with Garner pairing her outerwear with a dark sweater and snug-fitting black leggings that cropped at the ankles.
Jennifer Garner added a pop of color to her ensemble with white and creamsicle-colored sneakers featuring lavender laces. The Alias alum wore her dark hair loose, letting her straight tresses fall over her shoulders, complemented by face-framing bangs.
Violet, on the other hand, pulled her hair back and sported transparent-framed eyeglasses along with a protective white face mask during their outing.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck recently reconnected while volunteering together on Thanksgiving, teaming up to help feed 2,000 unhoused Angelenos at Midnight Mission’s annual brunch. According to an eyewitness, the former couple, who share three children—Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12—spent three hours at the event.
This Thanksgiving marks Ben’s first since his divorce from Jennifer Lopez was filed in August, on their two-year wedding anniversary. Lopez and Affleck married in 2022, rekindling their romance in 2021 after their engagement in the early 2000s was called off.
Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years before their divorce was finalized in 2018, and despite their separation, they have maintained a friendly co-parenting relationship over the years.
Days ago, Jennifer Garner shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of her golden retriever, Birdie, in a poignant Instagram post. Reflecting on the loss, Garner wrote:
“It is hard to know how to write this— it seems nuts, given the world, to mourn a pet, but since we have shared Birdie with all of you, it only seems fair to let you know of her passing.
“Birdie let us know on Thursday that she wasn’t feeling herself (a renowned foodie, Birdie never missed a meal). We were surprised to learn that, not only was she very ill, but she was at the end of her life.
“The vet told us that dogs often hang on until their person comes home from college and we believe Birdie did just that, so that we could pet her soft ears together and thank her for being the world’s best dog. Birdie loved to be read to, always found her way into a Pretend Cooking Show, and knew just how to give people what they needed (as evidenced by her happy days as a dog therapy team with Mo).
“She lived a happy dog life and is now in the role she was born to play: angel girl. It’s a gift to love and be loved by such a creature as Birdie the Doggie.”
