Kandi Burruss, 48, a star of Real Housewives of Atlanta, has disclosed her use of a controversial weight loss supplement that facilitated her loss of 31 pounds.
The reality star attributed her recent physical transformation, in part, to her collaboration with Hydroxycut, a brand offering a range of weight loss supplements, including pills, capsules, shakes, and gummies.
“Operation #UnBigMyBack was a success!” she captioned footage showcasing her remarkable weight loss, where she donned a yellow sports bra and matching biker shorts.
In a video uploaded to her Instagram on Wednesday, the mother of four enthusiastically stated that she “lost 31 lbs with Hydroxycut.”
“Nothing was working for me, so I decided to try Hydroxycut,” she explained. “It gives you energy. I feel and look the best that I have in years. Get Hydroxycut today.” Hydroxycut promotes its products for weight loss, bodybuilding, and “fat burning” on its website, stating that they work “in conjunction with exercise and a reduced-calorie diet.”
In June, Burruss discussed her weight gain following her departure from the hit Bravo series and her experience with Ozempic in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com.
“I guess when I quit Housewives at the top of the year, I was like, ‘I’m gonna live my best life!’ So I’ve been eating well,” she shared. “I’m a dessert person, so I can have dessert with every meal.” She also mentioned trying the popular weight loss medication, Ozempic, for a period but noted that it did little to suppress her cravings.
Burruss experienced a significant wake-up call when a social media troll highlighted her weight gain.
The Xscape star, who is preparing to embark on a tour with her group and SWV, recognized that it was time to manage her curves effectively.
“I really need to get it together,” she admitted. “You keep trying to stay motivated to stick to a diet, but sometimes you just need some extra help and motivation.”
Kandi Burruss has now partnered with the dietary supplement brand Hydroxycut, which has launched a new range of products designed as an alternative to semaglutides like Ozempic. These products include weight-loss-boosting ingredients such as Glucose Control and Berberine.
According to Hydroxycut’s website, “Hydroxycut is powered by a key weight loss driver (C. Canephora robusta).” The brand highlights that this ingredient has been studied in two scientific trials with significant results. Kandi shared that the products have helped her manage cravings and boost her energy levels, which is crucial as she stays active and focused on her Queens of R&B tour with Xscape and SWV.
It’s inspiring to see how she’s taken control of her health and balanced her busy life! This is a great reminder that with the right tools and mindset, we can all achieve our goals. Keep pushing forward!
