Iskra Lawrence has welcomed her second child. The 34-year-old British model shared the joyous news on Instagram on Sunday, posting heartwarming photos with her newborn. Iskra and her partner, music producer Philip Payne, are already parents to their four-year-old son, Alpha.
In her post, Iskra wrote: “She’s here, P.P. Our daughter joined us at 3:56 AM at home, weighing 8 lbs 14 oz of preciousness. Our hearts are exploding with gratitude.
“Thank you, my rock, for being by my side @philipapayne. I can’t believe we finally have our daughter and a sister for big brother.”
Iskra expressed her gratitude in her post, stating: “Thank you to my birth team @anyadjumabaev and @emmyrobbindoula for providing me with the redemption birth of my dreams (I filmed my whole labor and will share soon). I also want to thank my parents for being here to help; it means so much. Lastly, thank you @alina.leksi for capturing these beautiful images I’ll treasure forever. ✨

A few weeks prior, Iskra shared several images on Instagram to celebrate both her birthday month and the anticipated arrival of her baby. She captioned the post: “My birthday month and your birth month. I wonder if you’ll be the third generation of Virgos ♍️. I can’t wait to meet you and raise you to be a powerful unstoppable goddess. ✨”
In the images, Iskra showcased her lush curves and deep tan in a white bikini, with her long blonde hair cascading down her back.
She announced her pregnancy in April through an extensive Instagram post, writing: “Four years later, and we are finally going to be a family of four.” She also mentioned her commitment to supporting others on their fertility journeys, stating that she would be giving away $20,000 to two of her followers, following a previous giveaway of $10,000 during her first pregnancy.
Iskra stated, “This announcement is extra special because once again I’m partnering with @firstresponsepregnancy, and I’ll be giving away all $20,000 to two of YOU to support you on your fertility journey.”
“Four years ago, I gave away $10,000 each to Sara and Skye during my first pregnancy. It’s hard not to cry while writing this, but both now have their rainbow babies, and it has truly been my greatest honor to be part of their journeys. I can’t wait to do this again.”
She emphasized the importance of addressing infertility, noting that “1 in 6 people are affected globally by infertility and 1 in 4 women experience miscarriage, pregnancy loss, or stillbirth. There is nowhere near enough support, education, or ongoing research into women’s health, so let’s continue to end the shame, stigma, and silence.”
Iskra confirmed her relationship with Philip in May 2019, after meeting at a Grammys party in 2018 and becoming a couple that October.
Earlier this year, in an interview with Newsafro.com, Iskra shared when she feels best about herself: “When I am taking care of my mind and body. Engaging in self-care activities, like practicing mindfulness, exercising, and nourishing myself with healthy foods, helps me feel confident and empowered.”
She also mentioned having wise words to help her through challenging times.
Iskra shared, “When I am feeling down, I often remind myself of the quote, ‘You are enough.’ It serves as a powerful reminder that I am worthy and deserving of love and acceptance just as I am.”
She emphasized that she constantly reminds herself that perfection is unnecessary. “My favorite body acceptance message is that everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way—we don’t need to be perfect; being ourselves is always enough,” she explained.
