Dua Lipa delivered a provocative performance in leather and lace, commanding the stage in hot pants during the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas.
The 29-year-old pop star captivated the audience at Zilker Metropolitan Park in Austin, donning a pair of zipper leather hot pants paired with a matching corset vest.
Dua showcased a leggy display by layering her leather coordinate over black lace tights. She elevated her statuesque silhouette by complementing her daring outfit with leather-heeled boots. To accessorize, she highlighted her rock-chic aesthetic with a bold silver chunky chain necklace.
Dua delivered an incredibly energetic performance, dancing throughout her set alongside her group of fabulous dancers, who also dazzled in leather and lace.
This captivating show follows the recent announcement of additional dates for the Australian leg of her 2025 Radical Optimism World Tour due to high demand; however, fans remain dissatisfied. Despite adding seven dates in total, up from the original two, fans have expressed their outrage over the ticket prices.
As the Grammy Award winner prepares to kick off her tour in Melbourne, moving on to Sydney thereafter, some fans have criticized Live Nation for their “disgusting” dynamic pricing.
Dua will commence her tour on March 19 at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, with additional performances on the 20th, 22nd, and 23rd. She will then travel to Sydney, where she is set to perform at the Qudos Bank Arena on March 26, 28, and 29.
These are the only Australian dates included in her extensive world tour before she departs for a performance in New Zealand on April 2, followed by further international dates.
As new dates are announced, eager fans have flocked to online ticketing platforms to secure coveted seats at her concerts, only to be taken aback by the exorbitant prices.
One individual shared a screenshot on X revealing that their tickets cost $349.90, commenting, “Nawt Dua Lipa/Ticketek turning on premium pricing for her Aus shows [sic].”
Another user expressed their outrage, stating, “Why are Dua’s ticket prices so disgusting? Why the heck is it $460 EACH? That’s outrageous.”
Dynamic pricing has long drawn criticism from concertgoers, as ticketing platforms globally continue to implement this pricing model on their websites.
This strategy allows ticket sellers to adjust prices based on demand rather than establishing a fixed cost, resulting in significantly inflated ticket prices.
