Billi Mucklow has been left feeling “blindsided” by Andy Carroll’s new relationship with makeup artist Lou Teasdale, as she has expressed concern over how quickly he moved on after their split.
The TOWIE star, 36, and the footballer, 35, were married in June 2022 but recently confirmed their decision to divorce after having secretly separated earlier this year.
Billi Mucklow’s friends report that she is still grieving the end of her relationship with Andy Carroll and is heartbroken over how quickly he has moved on after their 11-year partnership.
The former Newcastle and Liverpool striker has been growing close to makeup artist Lou Teasdale, 40, a friend of Harry Styles, since their separation, and she has even visited him in Bordeaux, France, where he currently plays.
This new romance developed while Billi was on holiday with their five children, including Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14—Andy’s children from a previous marriage, whom Billi has raised as her own.
A source informed Newsafro.com that while Billi Mucklow is upset about the end of her marriage, she accepts that it had run its course.
The source stated, “They had plenty of ups and downs, but she doesn’t regret a thing because it’s given her three children and two more from Andy’s previous relationship, with whom she has grown incredibly close and who still live with her full-time.”
Currently based in France, Andy Carroll returns to see the children as often as possible, and Billi will continue to raise Emilie Rose and Lucas.
Regarding his new romance, the source remarked, “It was a shock for Billi, given they only split months previously.”
“The situation left her feeling blindsided initially; however, he is now single and thus free to pursue his own interests. Billi and Andy, who share three children—Arlo, eight; Wolf, five; and Marvel Mae, two—established their family home in a former residence of Rod Stewart located in Epping. The couple purchased the property for £4.1 million in 2019.
Billi and Andy married in June 2022 during an extravagant ceremony in Hampshire, followed by a Coachella-themed celebration for friends and family. However, the lead-up to their wedding was marred by controversy surrounding Andy’s wild stag do. He was photographed asleep in a Dubai hotel room alongside glamorous bar manager Taylor Jane Wilkey, who was seen wearing one of his personalized bathrobes.
Taylor later clarified the situation to The Sun, stating that the photos were “a joke” and explained that it was an afterparty with three people in the room, emphasizing, “I didn’t sleep with him, it wasn’t like that.”
Taylor Jane Wilkey described the incident further, saying, “It was a full day and night of drinking, we’d been at Cove Beach since 12, it was a really boozy day. Andy was steaming, we were all drunk.” She added, “We went back to Andy’s hotel suite, played some music, and he got into bed and passed out. I was there with my friend until the early hours and took the photo as a joke.”
Taylor Jane Wilkey explained further, saying, “My mates back home were goading me for the lowdown so I took that picture for a laugh and sent it to them. Nothing sexual happened. It was just a bit of banter.”
