According to Manchester City Council’s Public Spaces Protection Order 2023, urinating in public in restricted areas can result in a fine of up to £150 if caught.
Walker, who earns an average of £160,000 per week playing for Pep Guardiola’s high-flying Manchester City, seemed unfazed as he relieved himself before heading to a waiting car. The footballer had been enjoying a night out at Dear Sailor, a popular venue in Spinningfields Square that describes itself as a “clandestine cocktail bar inspired by the speakeasies and jazz clubs of 1930s Tokyo.”
This isn’t the first time the England international has faced public scrutiny for similar behavior. He previously drew attention after urinating against the wall of a £260-a-night hotel in broad daylight back in April 2022. That incident occurred outside The Bridge in Prestbury, Cheshire, just 24 hours after Manchester City lost to Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
Guests at the hotel reported seeing Kyle Walker, the England and Manchester City defender, looking around before pulling up his hoodie and urinating against a wall. This incident comes amid claims that his wife, Annie Kilner, will only consider reconciling if he pays her a staggering £15 million.
