Stacey Solomon has made the surprising decision to step down from a major professional role, announcing that she is prioritizing spending more time with her family. This unexpected career move comes as she focuses on balancing her personal and professional life.
Stacey Solomon has revealed that she is reducing her work commitments, sharing the news with her Instagram followers. The Loose Women panelist, 34, posted an emotional message announcing that she is stepping back from her role as an ambassador for InTheStyle. Reflecting on her journey with the clothing brand, Stacey expressed gratitude for the experience, having launched her first collection with them in 2021.
Stacey Solomon shared her feelings about the decision, stating: “Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for InTheStyle. I have loved every single second of being able to design & create clothing with the most incredible team & literally bring my dreams to life.” Her heartfelt message reflected the deep connection she had with the brand and the creative journey she experienced.
Stacey Solomon revealed that her priorities have shifted this year, especially after the birth of her fifth child. Reflecting on the need to balance her career with her growing family, she shared: “Throughout this year I’ve thought a lot about work/family balance & things that have needed to be prioritised. So I’ve decided to say goodbye to InTheStyle and other things so that I can give more of myself back to my family.”
Stacey also noted that her final collection with the brand was filled with love and meaning, stating, “We wanted to end on a high, so this last collection has every bit of love we could possibly give it, and it only felt right to end it in my favourite season.”
Her announcement follows a series of career highlights, including the in-store launch of her haircare brand, REHAB, at Harrods Beauty Lakeside. The launch came just after Stacey won her first National Television Award. Beaming with pride, Stacey celebrated her new business venture, marking another milestone in her successful career, which is estimated to have earned her around £5 million.
On Wednesday evening, Stacey Solomon was left speechless after winning the first award of the night at the National Television Awards. Her show Sort Your Life Out took home the Factual Entertainment prize, surpassing fan-favorites such as Jeremy Clarkson, Gogglebox, and Clarkson’s Farm.
Visibly shocked, Stacey embraced her son Zach, 16, in a heartfelt hug before jubilantly celebrating. Supported by Zach and her sister Jemma, she took the stage to accept the award.
In her emotional acceptance speech, Stacey expressed her gratitude: “It’s the hardest show ever to make, and the team works so, so hard. My amazing co-presenters. I’m so grateful I get to do a show like this. I want to thank the families who let us into their homes. If it wasn’t for the families who opened their hearts to us, there wouldn’t be a Sort Your Life Out.”
Stacey concluded by thanking her husband, Joe Swash, who was not present at the ceremony, as well as her five children: Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Belle.
