Megan Thee Stallion is leading the nominations for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards with 12 nods. Her impressive haul includes categories such as Best Hip Hop Female Artist, Album of the Year, and Best Collaboration.
Other notable nominees include Drake, who follows closely with multiple nominations, and Travis Scott, also recognized for his recent work. The awards ceremony celebrates the year’s top achievements in hip hop and will be held later this year.
BET has announced the nominees for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, with Megan Thee Stallion leading with 12 nominations. Kendrick Lamar follows with 11, and Drake has eight. The 19th annual awards show will air on October 15, 2024, at 8 PM ET/PT on BET.
Fat Joe will host for the third year in a row and will also co-executive produce the event, which will be held in Las Vegas. Megan Thee Stallion’s nominations include Song of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Hip Hop Artist of the Year, and multiple nominations in Best Collaboration. Kendrick Lamar is nominated for Best Hip Hop Video, Lyricist of the Year, and Best Collaboration, among others. Other top contenders include Drake, Cardi B, GloRilla, and Nicki Minaj.
Fat Joe is excited about hosting, stating, “It’s been a dream to host the ‘BET Hip Hop Awards,’ and I’m looking forward to taking things to the next level in Las Vegas. We’re going to make this the biggest show yet.”
Fans can vote in key categories like DJ of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Best Hip Hop Platform starting September 20 at Noon ET on BET’s website.
