It has been 20 years since chef Gordon Ramsay first entered struggling restaurants across Britain, helping them while broadcasting the results on television.
Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares delivered compelling television, characterized by emotional outbursts, intense disputes, and high drama. Additionally, the Michelin-starred chef narrowly escaped significant health repercussions from food poisoning.
Other notable incidents include the chef being compelled to expel an individual who had brandished a knife, as well as a contentious dispute regarding the preparation of a mussel—an event that continues to generate viral attention to this day.
Additionally, the series featured instances of personal breakdowns, incidents where waitresses were expedited to medical facilities, and occurrences of arson.
This week, La Gondola restaurant in Derby was engulfed in flames in what is suspected to be an arson attack. Although the establishment had been vacant for several years, it was previously featured on Ramsay’s show, which aired for five seasons.
Mail Online is currently reviewing each restaurant that appeared on the Channel 4 hit program to assess their current status and progress.
