Julian Ortega, known for his role in the popular Netflix series “Elite,” has tragically passed away. According to reports, Ortega collapsed on a beach in Spain on Sunday afternoon and, despite the best efforts of lifeguards, could not be revived. While initial reports suggested drowning, authorities have since clarified that the cause of death was cardiac arrest on the shore.
Lifeguards informed a local outlet that they attempted to resuscitate Julian Ortega for 30 minutes before he was pronounced dead at the scene. Ortega gained recognition for his role in the Spanish drama “Elite,” where he portrayed the manager of the restaurant “La Cabana” in several episodes in 2018.
Ortega also held credits in other well-known Spanish-language shows, including “4 estrellas,” “The Countryside,” “Untameable,” “Velvet,” “Nunc et in Hora,” “Caronte,” among others.
