It has been revealed that Matthew Perry and his home assistant Kenny Iwamasa spent a minimum of $55,000 on 55 ketamine vials and related injections in the 29 days before the actor was reported to have passed out from overdose at the age of 54 on October 28, 2023.
Text messages sent by Iwamasa showed that it was seeking more of the surgical anesthetic from his suppliers, including an illegal transaction, authorities with the Department of Justice said, US Weekly reported on Sunday after reviewing court documents in the cast against Iwamasa.
Iwamasa was one of five people arrested earlier in relation to Perry’s passing – it was convened with the Friends actor and Dr. Salvador Plasencia in a parking lot, where the actor had been injected with ketamine, as revealed.
