A triple stabbing on a quiet street in Manchester has resulted in one death and left two others, including a teenage girl, fighting for their lives. Police and paramedics responded to the scene on a residential road in Gorton shortly after 11 p.m. last night following reports of a knife attack. A 43-year-old woman was killed, while a 17-year-old girl and a 64-year-old man were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 22-year-old man, believed to be known to the victims, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. Greater Manchester Police confirmed this morning that the 43-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries.
