Hurricane Debby’s storm surge has led to the discovery of over 100 pounds of cocaine washing ashore in Florida. Although the storm didn’t directly hit the state, it disrupted narcotics stashes, resulting in 70 pounds of cocaine packages being found near the Florida Keys village of Islamorada.
Authorities report that a good Samaritan discovered 25 packages of cocaine, valued at over $1 million, washed ashore. A week later, additional cocaine was found near Everglades City.
